Final Round
H- chee has a third straight opportunity to win his coveted third Yellow Sweater. He holds a 3.5 stroke lead over Juan going into the final 18 holes at We-Ko-Pa today. The two arch rivals will go head to head. Juan is getting 2.5 and must beat Chee by one stroke gross to win. Fritzie is 11 back and has a shot if he goes low. Bulldog Nauman vaulted into the final group by shooting the low net round of the day Sunday. The middle group is JP, Lieutenant Dan, Mikey G and Woodrow. Ward bumped Sophomore Dave into his first ever Drone group. He will be joined by Tins, Kippy and Rocky Matthiano. Rocky must finish within 12 net of the winner to avoid becoming the worst Drone performance in Sweater history. [read more]

New Leader
H-chee was a machine today at Southern Dunes. Ignoring the 191 bunkers, Chee never waivered en route to a masterful 82. His brother Fritzie had a rough day, and at one point hit Mikey G's ball and incurred a two shot penalty. Juan is holding steady against the field but is losing ground fast to his nemesis. Mikey G hit Fritzie's ball into the hole for a birdie, then made seven after his penalty. Lieutenant Dan continued to move up the board, and the rookie now sits in fifth overall and third in the calcutta. Woodrow was 2 under through 4 holes, but faded to an 82. He did play himself out of the early drone group. 27 holes at Superstition Mountain Prospector tomorrow and the finale at We-Ko-Pa Cholla. [read more]
Fritzie Holds Lead into Day 3
Four time Sweater Sorcerer and heavy favorite Kirk Madsen holds a six shot lead over Juan and a hard charging H-chee. Chee was low net of the day (66) at his favorite venue. Mikey G also made a move, and will play in the final group just 15 back. Lieutenant Dan beat his first round score by 20 strokes and is moving up fast. Southern Dunes has 191 bunkers and will be the boys most difficult test of the week. Report at 7 pm [read more]

H-chee continued to build his lead over 27 holes at Papago Saturday. The rain stayed away and H-chee made few mistakes. He now holds a 7.25 stroke lead over Kipper.
