H-chee Rolls at Papago

H-chee continued to build his lead over 27 holes at Papago Saturday. The rain stayed away and H-chee made few mistakes. He now holds a 7.25 stroke lead over Kipper. In third is Sophomore Dave, who couldn't hole a putt in his opening 18. JP was medalist on the first 18 and has sidled into fourth and is only 10.75 back.

Verrado has been an achilles heel for both Kris and Dave, so tomorrow should be full of drama.

The Tin Man is hanging tough and sits in fifth only 11.25 back and will be getting 11.25 shots from the Kris the next two days. If he can beat him straight from here he'll have a good chance to win his second Sweater.

Fritzie got a bit sideways worrying about his kitten Kerry  - but he is within 12 of the lead. Colonel and Wood were up late and their games suffered. They sit 7th and 8th.

The Drones are so far out of contention - it might not be possible for them to play their way even into the second group. Toner, Juan, Kevin and Cuts have been beyond pitiful.
